What makes garbage, garbage? When do we dis-imbue an object with meaning, with value? We take the material from the earth's crust and, through elaborate processes, recompose it into technology, which we then cherish for a time until its inevitable discarding. Through literal and comedic motifs, this series demonstrates the transmutation of the natural into the artificial. Does nature reclaim the human-made detritus, or do they join, becoming something entirely new?
