The NeoGrowths series illustrates what flora might one day look like once humanity has fully deconstructed natures base code and improved it through a combination of Type 1 technologies such as synthetic biology, AI, and nano. Each piece is composed of various species of wood ranging from Indonesia to the United States. Each piece was 3D scanned using photogrammetry and structured light to produce digital replicas. Integrated within the negative spaces, nerve-like meshes, known as plexus geometry, are generated and printed using stereolithographic resin printers. Each NFT is animated with intricately webbed geometric algorithms to suggest the movement within each resin plexus.
